Redwood Adult & Teen Challenge is a faith based residential recovery program that provides assistance to individuals that are struggling with life-controlling problems such as drugs and/or alcohol. We have two residential recovery centers located in the heart of Humboldt County and also have two transitional living facilities for men and women graduates. Teen Challenge teaches individuals how to regain control of their lives and become productive members of their community while maintaining biblical standards. Both of our centers, Straight Street Men's Center and Streams of Living Water Women's Center have experienced, trained staff, ready and willing to help.

During our 12-16 month program students learn how to live successful lives, give back to the community, build lasting friendships and restore their relationships.

Rescue people from destructive lifestyles. Rebuild individuals spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. Return them to God, family, community, and the work force.

OUR PURPOSE

Teen Challenge is a residential discipleship program that rehabilitates men, women, children, and families with drug and alcohol dependency, and other life-controlling problems. We show them how to break down the barriers of self-deception and negative attitudes, rebuild their self-esteem, live a life free from drug and alcohol addiction, and to live according to Christian principles as a productive member of society.

OUR PROGRAM

The 12-month long program consists of classroom assignments, individual and group counseling, educational, and vocational assistance, work-study, and personal attention by the staff in a structured, nurturing, Christ-centered environment.
